Most farms aren’t struggling because they don’t work hard.
they’re struggling because they don’t have clear financial direction.

Most bookkeepers track your numbers.
We help you use them.

With us, you get:

Clean, accurate books

Clear explanations (no accounting jargon)

Our Clients Are:

You’re Doing Everything Right… So Why Isn’t It Working?

You’re feeding, cleaning, managing, scheduling, and showing up every day.

But at the end of the month:

  • there’s not enough left over

  • things still feel chaotic

  • and you’re not sure where the money is going

You’re not alone—and you’re not the problem.

Most small barns and equine businesses are built on passion, not systems.

That’s where things start to break.

Here’s Where Most Barns Lose Money

  • Underpriced lessons, training, or board

  • Feed inefficiencies and unnecessary expenses

  • Unused capacity (empty stalls, missed income)

  • No clear financial structure or tracking

  • Time being spent in the wrong places

These issues don’t just cost you money—they cost you time, energy, and sustainability.

This Is Where Pasture & Profit Comes In

We help you:

  • identify where money is being lost

  • fix pricing so your work is actually profitable

  • streamline your systems so things run smoother

  • build a structure that supports growth—not burnout

This isn’t generic business advice.

This is built specifically for:

  • equine operations

  • small barns

  • and agriculture-based businesses

About the Owner

Hi, I'm Theresa, the founder of Pasture & Profit Bookkeeping

I built this business because I've seen firsthand how hard farm and equine business owners' work. Often without clear financial direction to match the effort.

With experience in both the financial world, including working with H&R Block, and hands-on involvement in the equine and agricultural space, I understand the unique challenges that come with running this kind of business.

You're not just managing numbers, you're managing animals, land, time, and constant unpredictability.

That's why my approach goes beyond bookkeeping. I focus on helping you understand your numbers, make better decisions, and build a business that actually supports you.

I also hold a degree in Equine Facilitated Therapeutics from Wilson College, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix, which supports the financial systems and strategies I bring to your business.
